Equipment

Matt (lead) plays a Bach 6 (yes 6!) with a light weight slide and a custom mouthpiece.

Jim (jazz) plays a Besson 940 trombone with a gold-plated Schilke 47 mouthpiece.

Jay (jazz) plays an Edwards jazz trombone with a Doug Elliott mouthpiece (C cup, 99 rim). For playing low (and potentially arm-breaking) tenor trombone parts Jay added a detachable "G" trigger, custom made from a Conn F-attachment and adapted to the Edwards trombone by Todd Klontz at Rosso Music.

Jerry (bass) plays a Shires custom bass trombone with double Thayer valves, medium weight bell and dual bore slide. Jerry's mouthpiece is a Doug Elliott with N cup, 112 rim and N9 shank.

Jeff (bass) plays a Bach Stradivarius 50BG with double Thayer valves and an Edwards dual bore slide. Jeff's mouthpiece is a Doug Elliott with O cup, 110 rim and N6 shank without leadpipe.
